Where else can you connect?
Mission Outreach
We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers. Our congregation (with participants from children to Sr. adult age) has been directly involved in one to three mission trips per year – in places like Haiti, Africa, Cuba, Kentucky, Ohio and many other locations . Once per month we have a special Missions Focus service. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.
Music & Programs
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many of our congregation get involved in our music ministry. Some play instruments. Some are vocalists. We also have many opportunities for artistic skills, such as at Vacation Bible School or set decor for special programs and plays. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of Jason Chapel, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Ushers & Greeters
Our ushers fill an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. Many of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio formats. We also maintain active Facebook and Twitter feeds for additional church communication.
Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. We are a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday morning before the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, we notify a special group of pray-ers with ePrayer requests to pray for their pastor, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Wednesday evening, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study.
Bible & Brew Cafe & Fellowship Meals
Each Sunday morning from 8am until 9 am (when Small Groups and Sunday School begin) we have a cafe that offers a variety of fresh single cup brew coffee, teas, cocoa, juice and pastries. This is a great opportunity to visit with others and prepare for a morning of study and worship. The cafe remains open until 9:30 for those who have classes on other days or locations. We also have all church potlucks every month or two. We can always used some fresh baked muffins, juice, or a hand in setting up and cleaning up.
